17 year old with a freebie...

Alright guys,

I'll keep this brief, I'm 17 in two months and just gotten my first road car, which is actually my fifth car, a TD4 freebie. Yeah it's a freelander and I'm ready for all the disco/defender boys to start the banter.

Needs a few bits doing to make it look less like my Mum's car, any ideas chaps?

Less like your Mum's car? Well, she clearly wasn't a hairdresser, so to make it different, plaster some Tresemme, Wash N Go and Clairol sponsor stickers all over it.... in pink.

I'd get some new windscreeen wipers if I were you - those ones look awfully bent and don't even seem to be touching the windscreen anywhere!

Seriously... from a relative newb to this forum WELCOME! and might I say... you lucky little barsket getting such a vehicle for a FREE car! Reaaly?

Way more presence than a Saxo or 107 Get on over to the Freelander section to find out about any possible nightmares/ niggles etc.

Thanks though! No the car wasn't free to me, cost me about £4500. Came from inheritance from my two late grandfather's, the second of which passed away two weeks ago. I'm sure he's looking down and smiling

Two diesel 106 driveway toys:

A 306 field car which was just used and abused for ****s and giggles.

^ not me by the way.

And lastly my BMW drift slut, which was sold last August when I munched first and second gear. And destroyed the clutch.

So quite an interesting history.
