17" to 16" question?

Im changing from 17" wheels to 16" wheels for the winter (Ive got some good 16" alloys with nearly new 215 65 16 grabbers off a freelander the same year as mine, I have been told that the tracking is different between 17" and 16" wheels and I need to get it altered, does anyone out there know if this is correct.

You dont go to Kwik Twit do ya....type of thing those daft fookers would come out with to make an extra couple of quid..???

No , but it was a tyrefitter who told me :doh: It got me wondering though ,thats why I asked for the opinion of you guys on this ere forum .

Sounds bollix to me, the angle of alignment doesn't alter when you change the wheel size so why would there need to be a different setting?
