15" alloys...tyre advice

was hoping to be showing pics of my new triple sport alloys

but been dropped in the sh1t...

so...whats the widest tyres i can put on my 15" alloys?

they have 195s on at the mo

A 225/60 15 will fit, but there are not a lot to choose from.

Almost all are road tyres, but that may not bother you.

Hi, you seem to be the man in the know for tyres, and didn't want to start a new thread.

I have 15 inch alloys, and was looking at getting some All terrains for them, whats the biggest tyre i could get in profile (i think it is), to add some height to my freelander?

I'm not the best guy to ask about A/T tyres as I haven't used any for many years now.

But I think you may have a problem in that the standard tyres are 195/80 15 so are pretty much on the biggest (highest) profile available.

Most folks seeking more height go for 16" wheels - plenty available.

I presume if i look at 16's with highest profile, i wouldn't have to modify any of my steering geometry?
