Lovely build, I have just bought the Haynes book, £18.59 on Amazon if anyone is interested lol

looking at electric actuators for the roof and its 30 quid on ebay Chinese stuff or 500+ quid each for uk built so was talking to a real helpfull guy and asked if hr had any other ideas and he suggested this what do you think

My solution to fixing the canvas to the roof, screw and stick 20mm box to a strip of chequer plate then stick to the inside of the roof... I will then fix the canvas to the inside edge of the box with a screwed on ally strip and to the top of the outside of the walls with the same

Crying out for an old camera type bellows between the two.

How hard can it be?

Are you going to have any seating in the rear area? I need seating for 4 - need to make space for 2 kids as well.
What was your rationale for a popup roof? This is a qestion i have been thinking about. Ideally, i would like to have an overcab fixed bed, and i feel canvas might not be as good for insulation as i plan to travel in cold areas.

hi,just the 2 of us so no travel seating in the back...pop roof ia 50cm lower than my 6.4 when closed and the truck will fit in a container
