Compressor to do what? Your question makes no sense without some idea of what you want one for.

Wife had a small one for cake/model airbrushing, I have one for air tools, we both have a small one in each others cars for emergencies .. but they all have different capacities and strengths, different costs and can be bought at different places.

From what I have read t max heavy duty is the best , best price I have found is £62.50+vat . I need a compressor for the backup on my air suspension and to pump up the tyres

Previously I had a "Michelin hi power 12v digital tyre inflator".. "hi power" been a bit over estimated! Ideal for car/bike tyres but not designed for larger 4x4 tyres, it would take ages to pump a tyre up a few psi, eventually it stopped working, it was evident how poor the design was when I saw the actual internals and saw the piston chamber and how small it was! It wasn't overly cheap at around £30.

After seeing how poor quality some of these smaller compressors were I did a bit of research and decided to spend a bit and get a good one! - I opted for the "T - MAX Heavy Duty Portable Compressor - 110 Lts per min", it's a bit overkill for what I want but the quality is there! well built and quick!

Well worth the money in my eyes but then again i'm no expert! and I don't use it a heck of a lot, but i'm happy with my purchase!
