Where is the top bolt hidden? I have worked out the lower two bolts are the same as hold the internal screw bracket on. But cannot initially see a top bolt. Will have to remove some trip to investigate properly.
They aren't that difficult to drill out, using cobalt drills. If you go steady at it, drill a small central hole about 5mm deep, and then gradually increase drill sizes, you will find the head of the bolt comes off before that long.
I am more hopeful for the bolt holding the lower part of the hinges bracket on as these look to be allen head bolts so must have been replaced when the bulkhead was done. if not these will also need drilling out.
Yes. More likely to get a result with Allens, I should think.
I will be seeing if i can replace it with something that is now a scew head, I am sure there will be a similar headed allen bolt or similar I can use instead on reassembly, but currently have larger problems chasing a clutch issue.That looks nasty, doubt anyone can prescribe a cream for that. I did laugh when I chased a leak to the windscreen hinge to find LR had used a large screw
