I would like to introduce myself....
ok so before you all start laughing about my thread title I need to tell the story.
my first vehicle was a 101 land rover with the old low compression military V8 and I loved the vehicle, sadly I had to sell it as it was not financially viable to run at the time (due to lack of fun tokens)
so now many years later I have done something impulsive and silly and bought myself a 110 with a V8 in it, needs a bit of work but before I can start I need to know which V8 I have.
it has a plenum (which points toward the 3.9V8) but no "3.9" embossed on the top which leads me to think it is an aftermarket plenum...
it has a Lucas 2AM flapper air flow sensor but some aftermarket pipes after that so ...... I am a bit clueless..... are there any V8 experts out there willing to help me find my way?
