110 Puma theft protection

Hi anyone know if these mods are necessary on 2014 puma defender 110 to help stop theft? -
"Fit part no LR031883 to prevent the shorting of the indicator lights flashing if alarm is set off."
OR
I know you can also fit a couple of inline fuses to the wires on pin 6 and pin 1 on the 10AS module or cut them but you loose the indicator flash on lock and unlock.

Any thoughts and please don't let me know that if they want it they'll have it!

When I got my rear view cameria fitted on my 2010 they fitted one to mine. I found this link back then for it

It's says they fitted it as standard from 2013, but I have no proof or evidence about this.

Hi thanks for the reply. I actually read those posts last night but as you say no proof any things been altered already on the late vehicles. Taking it into main dealer for some warranty work so will ask there. Not too hopeful I will get a sensible answer!

It was an concern recall so the main dealer should beable to check off the vin number if it needs done.
