Hi iv'e got an early 110 which pulls left. It has a galvanised chassiss which measures up as being square on the axles. When I jack it up and run it in gear on blocks the wheels on either side move at the same speed and I can't find any binding on the brakes. tyre pressures OK, tyres 1/4 worn same on each side.load central. I am a mechanic. Anyone got any suggestions?

check the tyres across each axle - make sure they are by the same manufactuer and size. if they arent - try swapping left to right and see if that makes it pull to the right. I had violent steering pull to the left - found that although the tyres were the "same" size, one manufacturers tyres was 15mm smaller in road diameter than the one across the axle - swapped tyres over - pulling to right - changed tyre - prob solved.

thanks to all. however have fitted poly bushes including panhard and balljoint to top rear axle, changed tyres, removed draglink etc and steering joints seem even, springs and shocks are almost new, even tried spacers behind panhard rod to chassiss mount(minimal difference), I have managed to get it running straight BUT to do it I had to space the n/s/r radius arm by about 6mm and inflate the n/s/f tyre at 5 psi higher than o/s. would appreciate any more suggestions!!

Ok a wild guess here.
Measure the distance between the wheel centres on both sides.

Its a long shot but if the distances are different that would cause it.

Have you checked the tracking?

distance between wheel centers is out but only by the amount I've spaced it by to get it to go in straight line. have played with tracking back and forwards is now set in best drive position

when it was pulling left they were even!! Now there not cos I've bodged it to make it drivable ( got achey arms the way it was) BUT I'd like to fix it proper like if I could find out whats making it want to dive in ditch

Get your axle centres the same so they are parallel, then as buster say make sure your drive flanges are in good condition.

Get your tracking checked/ adjusted by someone with 4 wheel alignment.

Then see what it is like then :D
