Hi. Thinking about removing the fuel tank cradle on my 110 - just to clean it up/treat the rust and put back.
If I take the cradle off will the fuel tank just drop out with it or is it held in place by other means? Cheers.

The bolts that hold the cradle are the same ones that hold the tank. So you would need some axle stands under it to support it in place while the cradle is unbolted and off.

Perfect - thanks for the reply 👍
there should be enough slack in the fuel line to drop the tank a little so don't worry about having to keep it perfectly in place but there is very unlikely to be enough for it to sit on the floor. If the sender is still in place on the passenger side of the tank you will need to be carful as it will catch the chassis leg and the tank will then sit on the connectors for that as it drops down and break the sender.
