had a 110 Hi cap pick up now for about a year i am going to attempt to change it into double cab using a 110 station wagon body. Has anyone heard of this being done or better still has anyone ever done it who knows what could happen once i get the angle grinder out.

The amount of pop rivits that will be goping in this it may well have to be a pneumatic one and a 4 stone bag of rivits to go with it...

no angle grinder needed, its all bolts, nuts and like they said a few pop rivets. The biggest task to convert a station wagon into a double cab is to fit the bulkhead behind the back seat, the rest should be straight bolt-off bolt-on.

Is the holes and everything there to fit the bulk head to or do you have to make up brackets and have you altered a station wagon into a double cab?

Mine was once a CSW....but the bloke i brought it off done the conversion..its a very good job.....if you need photo's let me know.it can only help.....The problem he had, i think, was the roof. To buy a proper one was a fortune, but they made one. Also getting the rear headlining was hard to come by, but eventually got one from LIVERIDGE 4X4.....

Based in Atherstone, North Warwickshire.......The car was built for a certain Rock Star who had a hit back in the 90's that lasted 20 odd weeks at no. 1.........

Adafish thats exactly what im after looks excellent, do you not fancy swapping so you can have the experience of building one, wouldnt mind some photos to keep me on the right track cause once i get started taking bits off it may have to be a pick up.

Hi adafih, could you photograph the rear bulkhead from inside and out also the roof section at the rear inside and out, would be much appreciated you could email them to me at [email protected] cheers.

AFTERNOON....RIGHT ...managed to get some photo's done, hope it helps...In the process of doing so, the high back seats i have in the back fell and went thro the rear truck cab glass......"OH DEAR AND BLAST" i said..these things are sent to try us..if you need any more let me know....ADA
