Hi there,
Trying to help a friend out here- he has a leak from what looks like the dual brake servo on the bulk head. I have replaced the offending part, but it still leaks. The best way to describe the part is like a thermostat with a sprung loaded nipple. It has electrical connectors to it. Any advice would much appreciated, I'll post a photo tomorrow. Thanks in advance. :)

:welcome2: Jack.

Look forward to the pics.

Is the bit with connectors on the brake light switch by any chance?

Sounds like the brake pressure warning sensor

the switch on here?

That's the one thanks. Any thoughts on why this might be leaking? It's not the seal :(

it's probably leaking cos its fooked.
alternatively if you say you have already replaced it, make sure it not a brake pipe onto that unit which is causing brake fluid to collect on the switch. Fluid always seems to track to low points.

Its actually leaking out through the electrical part, not the seal or pipes. Its rather random
Don't think it should do that! If you changed the unit complete with pressure sensor, I'd be inclined to take it back!

However, if you changed the unit and not the sensor, I'd make sure that you didn't damage it!

You should be able to get hold of a replacement sensor easily enough, especially as the fluid is leaking through it!

Thanks,
I only replaced the sensor, the unit does look a bit tired, so i have ordered another sensor and the body.
I'll keep you posted as to how we get on :)
Thanks again
