Hi all, how's it going!?

I've only posted a couple of times before, but recently solved the 'indicators-not-working-but-hazards-are-duff-switch-fault' through searching on here - thank you all :)

After a good 30 minutes of searching i am unable to find however the payload of our H-reg hi capacity 110. I can find weights for modern machinery, but not ours - can anyone confirm this please?

As i have ordered delivery of a dumpy bag of sand already now, so it doesn't matter, but i would be interested to learn it still for future reference. As i just saw a Ford Ranger (pardom me) drive up with one in the back i'm sure our old girl would of coped, but i ordered lots of plasterboard and insulation too, so all is not lost....

Googling the weight of a dumpy bag of sand they can be in excess of 1200kg, and more wet (this is England summer time after all!) - depending on type, and how well 'packed' they are, but after doing two trips with red brick (600kg each) last weekend i thought i'd remain sensible!

Cheers guys
Tom

PS We got 35p/brick (c1980's) at the reclaimation yard :)

PPS When i have filled the back (and i mean filled!) with dry/dam ish) logs it has sat down a good 3-4" on its springs, and c50psi has been needed to make the tyres look 'sensible' - any ideas what that might of weighed? A fair bit more than the (calculated 600kg) red brick, as stacked near the cab, that hardly made the rear springs move...

Hi, and thanks James.

I am unsure about 'levelled suspension' - other than it suggesting to me HD perhaps the springs are uprated so it sits level when loaded?

Not that it makes much odds to the payload, levelled or otherwise, as by the look of it i was sensible to get a (probably soaking) dumpy bag delivered.

Cheers

levelled trucks have a big ram type thing with accumalotor fastened to it from chassis to a frame ball joint ,unlevelled just has 2 bars of a frame

As i see - thank you.

There is nothing like that under our 110, just a ladder chassis and some coils!

Invoice for the plasterboard, sand and cement was at home when i arrived after work, and it had the sand at 945kg, so it would of been ok on its own. Total order was 1500 all in so makes no odds.

Cheers
Tom
