I’m the proud new owner of a 2012 110 2.2tdci and am delighted with the performance compared to my previous 200 and 300 tdis. I was delighted to see that it was factory fitted with rear speakers however on replacing the head unit I discovered that there is no wiring at the ISO plug in the dash for them. The rear speakers are wired into the loom and I have read the other threads on LZ discussing a free plug in the engine compartment where the speaker wires terminate. I can find no sign of this plug in my 2.2.

Does anyone know where else I can look as I am keen to use the existing wiring if possible.

Cheers,

Steve

There should be two plugs behind the fascia where the radio fits in. One is for the power and earth, the other is for the speakers. These both fit into the back of the standard land rover cd/radio. If an after market head unit has been in there both plugs may have been fitted to an adapter harness, with one combined plug fitting into the back of the head unit. There is a lot of space behind the fascia, plenty of room for a plug to wander off and hide.

Thanks for replying Wimblowdriver. The ISO plug is in place behind the fascia and the front speakers are connected (in positions 3,4,5 and 6) but the pins for the rear speakers have no wires going to them (positions 1,2,7 and 8). The front speakers are working fine. I just cant find any trace of the wires from the rear speakers.
