I've always been a die hard 88" bloke, and never gave the 109 a second thought. But now im the proud owner of a 109 i have some questions :D

In the past i've lifted my swb landies with parabolics, and the longer military shackles. As my 109 is already fitted with the military shackels, is there any other kind of lift kit?

The hood on my 109 has seen better day's, so i was going to fit a truck cab, only the truck cab that i had sitting out side the garage has gone walkies  so my plan is to fit a hard top jobby off an 88" and turn it in to a double cab-ish......has any one done this before??

I'll think of some more daft questions later.
Cheer's guy's
Brend.

It's been done lots of times, but I've no idea what's involved.
I did do a search before posting the question, but i cant find any info??
Anyways, the tool's are all ready to go, i've just got to give it another half an hour before i fire up the grinder, so that's another 30 minutes of frantic searching google :D

It's hammer time....and...um...er...grinder time...and more likely the like chisel time as well.........wish me luck :D

How did you get on? I'm thinking of turning my 109 truck cab into a double cab. Am I crazy?

When I bought my 109 6yrs ago it was fitted with a swb hard top with windows and an upper tail gate. The hard top fits straight onto a 109 with all the mounting holes lining up. There is obviously a gap between the bottom of the upper tail gate and the floor of the tub. In the case of the landy I bought this was filled with a bit of plywood. The Landy certainly looked quite funky but was not very practical so I gave the hard top to my cousin and fitted the truck cab and sticks that came with the 109.

Bin to Scalpay, interesting place, wasnt much there just a few houses and a playing field, theres some good climbs round there bet its good greenlaning.
