10 or 24 spline?

how do i tell if i have 10 or 24 spline diffs?
What is best?
And diff ratiao?

count th esplines on the half shaft - the right nes are the ones yu have taken out.

as fur diff ratios - mark the ring gear annd the pinion. rotate the pinion and count the number of turns till the ring gear mark has rotated one complete revolution - or count the teeth on the ring gear and pinion - it is the ratio of 1 to the other.

are you sure about the diffs having 10 or 24 splines??
am pretty sure its just the hub end of the shafts that have either 10 or 24 splines..

good point - mine had 10 splines on the diff end - dint count the splines at the other end, coz i dint take the hubs orf.
