Hi all,
I have a Freelander 1 1.8 petrol. I have 2 questions.
1. On my car (and the wiring diagram) the temp gauge sensor has 1 wire, however the sensor has 2 pins. I'm guessing that the sensor has been superseded over the years. Does anyone know the original part number for the 1 pin sensor? I want to try and find a NOS part. LR parts department won't tell me! Also if the newer sensor has 2 pins is this not going to affect the reading?
2. It has recently started running a bit uneven at all engine speeds, I have changed a load of ignition parts but it still does it. The other day I put super unleaded in it (98 RON) and it runs fine. If it should and has previously run on 95 RON why is it not now? Is it a sign of something impending?
Thanks, DB
