Just on the way back from the gym and turned onto my road, the clutch went very very light and started to bite from very near the floor. It seemed fine before this, but it got worse and worse as i was parking up in my car park. The very last reverse maneuver and i had a right judder through the whole of the car.

Checked the master and slave cylinder, all hydraulics are fine and so is the bracket, they were only replaced maybe 3 months ago.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Tis a sealed unit, no bleeding to be done unfortunately. But i'm sure master and slave cylinders are fine as the clutch arm operates ok when the pedal is used.

The master and slave cylinder is one sealed unit, replaced as a whole. I suppose i don't know if it has let air in or whatever, but the unit is only about three months old.

Aye, would save a lot of hassle if it was a serviceable part. Mind you, it's not too bad to replace. The most difficult bit is reaching up behind the dash to hook the pedal onto the master.

Not looked at mine but yeah seems a bit **** that you can't bleed it, most cars have a bleed nipple on the slave cylinder.
