Hi guys, I replaced my inlet gasket a couple of weeks ago, now it seems after a few days the warning light comes on for coolant level and most of it has come out of the expansion tank cap at high pressure, add more and bleed it and then it does it again a week or so later. any ideas?!!!

If you're lucky it's a dodgy cap on the expansion tank. This is fairly common.
If you're unlucky it's the head gasket. So is this :(

Ok well seeing as it's only since doing the inlet gasket, and the tank and cap are britpart cheap parts, no other signs of it being head gasket, I'm thinking cap or air still in system.

Did you bleed from the heater matrix pipe and the copper pipe which I think is above the gearbox. Been a while so don't remember exactly but there are two bleed points.

Expansion tank and the pressure cap would be the first things to look at - they're cheap to replace, and known to cause problems. If that fixes the problem, then hurrah. :)

If the engine seriously overheated following a previous inlet gasket failure, then it may be the head gasket - or worse, the cylinder head - that is culprit. Fingers crossed that this isn't the case...
