hi all , its been quite a while since my last post (she has behaved very well) however, after the recent heavy rain, i have found that my indicators are not working on the outside although still flashing on the dash , also the rear windows dont operate .have checked for water ingress and found slight dampness on the passenger side carpet. should i have the BCU checked out or maybe the Fuseboard? cant find any damp around either one though. is very frustrating. Any advice would be very welcome.

Hi, the first suspect is the interior fusebox, you can "check" it only if you pull it apart and find corrosion in it which can be invisible from outside or rule it out by swapping it with a known good one, it's plug and play just disconnect the battery first and after reconnection turn ignition on 2 and wait 5 minutes.... the fusebox must come from a facelift.... once this is ruled out the next is the BCU which needs complex programming with dedicated diagnostic tool

thanks for the reply , i took out the fuse box yesterday , is very clean, no damp or corrosion on either side of the board. looks like its off to the diagnostic man with the BCU then.
Darn it . thanks again.
