About to take may L322 up to Liverpool for a gearbox, not used it for a few weeks, Jumped in it and I've got a few what appear to be electrical problems. Started with Suspension inactive, which didn't worry me but then noticed the rev counter not working plus the temp gauge was on max. I've also got a red brake exclamation warning light plus amber ABS and the amber ABS light in the centre dash. Dash indicator lights aren't working (work externally) Front and Rear heated screen wont come on, HDC won't activate and I don't get a notification of High / Low gears though it is switching, neither does it notify of sport mode, apart from that.. All good. I've also noticed that the HDC light flashes every 3-5 mins and when this comes on the brake warning light goes out (few seconds.) I've given a lot of detail in the hope it can help point to the problem. Any help is much appreciated.

First thing is to make sure the battery is ok and fully charged and the alternator is charging properly, battery should be at least 12.6v after standing and alt should put up out 14.7+ with lights and everything on.

@NotAnotherLandRover
if your having the same problems then start at the battery as above as low volts will cause all sorts of faults and weird stuff
the first rule a range rover fault finding is make sure the battery is 100% ok and if you need a new battery the biggest that will possibly fit , on a l322 mf31 120ah 1000cca, dont go by what the says just fit the biggest.

Thank you Brian, will give this a go H x

HIya,

It's a brand new battery. It was put on literally 3 weeks ago. 100% the right one for the car.

Also cant set the time on the radio or the date. No sound from the radio either.

Actual gremlin I think! HELP!

Afternoon guys :)

What could be causing this in the boot? The nav unit has been removed, all is in there is the DSP amp, BM54 AKA radio and TV tuner. Even with this unplugged I have the same problem. On the right hand side is the power distribution module / fuse box. There's no water ingress that side at all though. Do you think this could be a problem with the instrument cluster / dash?
