03 Freelander Td4 power / performane issues.

Hi all I have an Td4 freelander which as a whole behave very well. Just recently I have had power issues and these are my symptons. Hot or cold and not all the time my engine warning light comes on when I get to between 2500 and 3000 rpm and iwill not go any higher. Its almost like either the turbo is not kicking in or there is a limiter?. It does this for varying ammounts of time. And can last second to hours. It also does not do it all the time. Any ideas?

Hmmn, seems to behave better than your web browser...

We've had this problem on here before, but the answer was never revealed. Have had it myself, but it only happened once, and then never again (touch wood).

would be looking to fuel pump though, maybe fuel filter ?
