Just for interests sake, does any body happen to know how fast a 2.5 N/A diesel 90 will get from 0-60 MPH, or 0-50 MPH?

Cheers

The one I've just bought is a 110 pick up with a 2.5 n/a diesel. It runs sweet as a nut and will do 70 on the flat no problem. Accelerates up to 50 quite well and is happy at 60. It'll go up most hills on the road at 50 in top gear, tbh I was amazed when I first drove it I thought itwould be a proper slug. It's on 245/70/16's on standard wheels so I'm assuming the speedo is ok + or - 10%.:D

Not quite on topic but I explained to my daughter (a speed freak) that she wouldn't like my Defender since it did 0 to 60 in two days so I hadn't put her on the insurance!

if you lower the fooker, stick on low profile tyre (narrow ones), take the chequerplate off ( cos it upsets the air flow), re-route yer fan ducting to the air intake and away from the heater core,( it might also help to put some ice where the air is entering the duct) and turn yer fan on full. drop the gearing of yer diffs, put a front splitter dam on it. then slip stream an artic you might manage abart 25.2365 secs

Thanks for the responses, especially Hughsey (yours was far more re-assuring!)

As long as I can cruise on stretches at 60 I'm happy! This is technically my first car don't forget, but if I'd wanted to go like **** off a stick and threaten peoples lives I'd have bought an astra or a vectra. Thankfully I'm not like that, and I'd rather be out in the country side green laning than looking like a **** in the city.

Cheers again

The landy is the first car that I have personally bought and own, but I started driving, and have been driving in my dads car for almost a year, and I'm emotionally attached to it, so I am giving it the gratitude of being my first car (partially)
