lights fooked

The lights on my disco stopped workin earlier.....the dash illuminates and the numberplate light comes on.Indicators or only working with the side repeaters.
Checked the earths in the engine bay and all the fuses......any ideas

200 or 300 ?, 200 had switch problems , does the flash work ?

300 no nothing at all from the front or rear lights

I'd say live feed need to check for live leaving switch and arriving/leaving relay.

check the ign switch, make sure all the wires are still connected. then check the feed to the light switch on the stalk, again check no loose wires and nothing dirty. then check the switch itself. not sure if its as common with disco's but on a few of my old cars some **** has got in the switch and stopped it working.

cheers mark, the dash lights up and the rear number plate light works....indicators are fooked as well ebay auction ends fer it on sunday so need to get it sorted

tells yer what if you're not too ill tomorrow I could do with a hand...fookin hate electrickery.Series is me plaything now although that broke down this morning !

yer aint gonna text me i live in a mobile free zone ! not sure but a cloud of smoke came outta the engine bay this morning when i tried to start it up !

cloud of smoke from the engine bay ....... (sharp intake of breath) ..... gonna cost ya. if summat smoking at least it should be easy to trace and sort, if its like mine then the zorst manifold has 'lost' a bolt and the downpipe will be open a bit. never did sort mine, sold it before i got round to it lol
