Turbo Repairs Blackpool - 01253 407 646 - best part of £100 for the last kit i had off them

that was 18 months or so - tend to just buy a good used turbo instead these days

the bearing and seal kit is over £250 !

thats a bloody expensive bit of rubber, I know they have to take the heat but jesus.

May reconsider rebuilding it at that, certainly not but the value back in the motor....

Are you looking for a 19J turbo? I have one still on the exhaust manifold.

Possably, going to rebuild the one i have before fitting it in my series but if its not to bad i'll leave it.

Then engine has done 96k, and from what I can gather problems start around 120k

you should have yer shaft balanced if you are stripping the turbo as they tend to beat themselves if they are out of balance ( it makes one hell of a mess too)

your making it sound worse:D, I have got two here is non of these are any good I may be in touch with andy;)

sound like the rebuild is out of the window

i have a 19j engine with a turbo on it you can have.... providing you take the whole engine (its the one i got off of pete23 on olhi) the engine is good for bits but the injection pump is suspect

arghhh not another one i have 2 already  but i will keep it in mind;)

a bit i used me hot air gun as it goes up to 600 degrees so i could get the worst out, but the rest of the landy is battered so it would look odd being smooth, i really need to give mine a new chassis, so what i might do is use my body and make a hybrid on a disco chassis and get it registered as a disco hybrid
