the rangie needs fixin mot is up tax is up ins out so as i need a tipper im going to strip it for parts and build a swb tipper from it with series cab.

bollix to it.im takeing the body off and wackin on another cab with tipper back.

dont see why not as long as your v5 number matches the one stamped on the chassis, dont know wether you will need a sva test on it though as if you used a ninety the body mods wouldnt matter

tis cuurruntly legal and all matching up.So a straight body swap on to my existing chassis seems ok to me.It has a body change section on v5 .can i just fill it in and send it off for ammendment?

that wunt look as good as a series body

i was planning the same thing using my 109 body and a 200tdi disco chassis and running gear

My 109 was fine just so im going to go for a series cab.which is shorter than the rangerover front half giveing my tipper more space.

don't forget you will need wide arches as disco/rangie/defender axles are wider than series ones.... you can just about get away with series wheels to keep within the bodywork... but if you fit 8spokes or modulars they sit 2" outside the body

got monster muds on 7"disco steels.flexi arches it is.....


they sit inside the range body so they aint too wide for mork.I will only need the front arches as the rear will be MTM....

kinda figured that.my max width is the tyre so it will be easy to build the butt.The front arches will have to be some defender stick ons i suppose.
