saying that there was a tax free 1972 109 IIa at brightwells not too long ago - BOA xxxK if i remember rightly, mot and free tax, really decent bit of kit, and that went for 540 i think in the end

Had ann interesting evening this evening... nipped out with Jai and Phil, hooked up a stricken motor, pulled it out of the mire, came home in time to see the wife disappearing up the stairs to bed... At least that's the short version!

Interesting Night, Na nothing really happened although my 90 is more muddy. Still asking myself why Nelly drove around the hole. I guess being alone he didn't want to get stuck- Lol! Oh well I'm sure much **** taking will result.

I have work in a few hours seems pointless going to bed really.

Just fiddling with the 109 and going throught the box of spares til 3am in the garage for me , very exciting. Paid over the odds for the 109 it was an odd one give £1000 for it, was set on £800 ish but they wouldn't budge. The reason I went for it in the end were the 12 seats, main ones are high backs with belts so very useable car and again he'd bad it 7+ years and maintained it very well as their main car. Will be used as my main car and for lanes. Probably will take it to pay and plays but it is a bit too long and cumbersome for any tricky stuff. New exhaust back box next and roller oN some marine blue and away we go

Yea i was up at 6.30 that makes it 3 hours sleep but twas fun last night.

used to get up at 5am drive 40 min, then change cars drive for another hour to cockfosters then tube it into Picadilly for 8. Finnish at 4 and tube it back to cockfosters, hour drive and then 40mins drive home. Depending on the tube I used to get home about 7.30 or 8pm. Feck doin' that now days

Got my 90 back, 200tdi, new gearbox, new disco transfer box, got it up to 80mph uphill on the motorway before I got scared of wheels falling off, was still pulling nicely though.

Please send me a text cause my phone died, and a day later my spare died, and somehow my numbers are no longer on the sim card, so I lost all my numbers :doh:

You going out this weekend ??

i wont be out this weekend regrettably as i am gonna be in maidstone doing a couple of lectures :/ and i am off next friday. maybe slot in some time for a pub meet some time between that!

ive put some oil back in my diff, kind of cured the whinning but its still there. luckily a freinds got 2 spares so its gonna cost me a crate of beer to get one and will rebuild mine and keep as a spare. sounds like you had an exciting rescue! if i was able to drive without poxy L plates i would of been up for helping!
