oil loss at injector points

there appears to be a high rate of oil loss from the injector points on the engine head(300 tdi(( stained after a gunk clean, seems regular due to small patches under car)), are there any seals that i can replace at this point, is it a straightforward task?
Do i have a serious problem?

does it rattle as well ? - the copper sealing washers go hard and cause leaks

if your seals were leaking you would lose diesel, is it poss your rocker cover is leaking or as there been an overspill of oil when topping up

yeh i have oil from rocker cover too which needs attn.,
and i've spilt oil,
but this looks to be injector rooted.

to replace the copper injector seal washers you'll have to take off the leak off assembly - these are also sealed (to the injectors) with little copper washers - so you might as well replace those while your at it

and check that the leak offs interconnecting hose (4mm o/d ish) hasnt gone loose
