I have recently replaced all 4 airbags on my P38 and it had a new EAS pump 12 months ago, the car does not sink at night.

The question is, how often should the pump run?
I had the bonnet up with the engine running and noticed that the pump runs for 40/50 seconds until there is a blast from the exhaust indicating max presure, it then stops for about 30 seconds, then it starts again and the cycle repeats. Is this normal or do I need to be looking for a leak somewhere:confused::confused::confused:

you could check calibration, if one bag is lower than the others the car will try and level the car but if it fails it will then lower again. i thought they dropped to access level with bonnet up???

Calibration is OK, just can't find anything in Rave about the duty cycle of the compressor. I would not have expected it to run so often. Everything seems OK but I'm doing an oil change later today so will go round with the soapy water spray to look for leaks:( Mine doesn't drop with the bonnet open.
