Here's the first step of my stealth camper project. The bed is supported by the dash, a DIY cubby box , the bulkhead and the sills between the body and hardtop.



All folds out of the way so can still be used as a van.

Next some blinds.

ducking stool? well a google then wikepida search has elightend me. Think I'll go for a deck chair on the bonnet.
 
My front seats have head rests so could not do this in my 90.
Good idea though and much more comfortable than trying to sleep in the drivers seat or curled up in the back.
Spent many a night in my Landy when my missus has a sense of humour failure (normaly after a session in the pub) and locks me out.

Ye could've just put the boards across the wheel boxes, plenty of room;) :D

Yeah I have to remove the driver's side head rest but I wanted it to do it this way so I can have a couple of full height lockers at the rear and the stove on the back door.
