The timing chains can be renewed in situ but you do need a good 22 mm socket and about a 2 meter bar to get the nut undone on the front pulley and i use a bar to hold the crank rather than just rel.y on the timing pin to hold itWell the news is in & its the timing chain. How much of a faff is that?
the FIP is quite easy and there are a few videos on u tube showing you how but you do need some special sockets and a impact wrench to undo the screws.I bet most garages would just swap it out. FIP refurb is above my grade for
