Tidied part of me garage this morning to a (very) basic standard and binned some junk. Emptied my box of assorted drill bits yesterday and binned most of them (why I kept knackered bits I don't know). Got under me tratter bonnet this morning and checked most of the fluids, had to put half a gallon of screen wash in. Then got underneath to grease the UJ's, got three done easily but the 4th as usual proved difficult due to limited access, and me grease gun ran out of grease. Refilled and had another go, then gave up as it has started to chuck it down. Finish it another day. And I need some new overalls, a scarecrow would refuse to wear my current ones. Got to go up in me loft later to find all my camping gear (no, not that sort of camping, I ain't a freelanderer), bike club for hooligans rally this week.

Or cut shortern in the pipe trunking make them both run above the skirting in a neat manner and lift the Rad brackets a few inchs higher.
Or just remake the 1 that used to run along the wall from inside the trunking. or just the last bit from the bend so it meets the rad correctly.

You have to remember whats visually wrong to you (you know cos you worked with it) is visually invisable to most.

I don't like compression joints on show so rather than solder a bend in I was thinking I can get a tighter bend in the micropipe so it looks neater. I also have a part roll of micro pipe in the shed and the rad needs a new valve anyway so cost wise it isn't a problem.
I dont like the way the plumber joined the pipe or the way he routed it, Joiner also made a mess of the 2" skirting, he cut a piece out because the plumber set the pipe too low, all new stuff and they were there at the same time so no excuse for making it look a mess.
Is it me ??

I finished the plastering because it wasn't straight
Plumber and joiner fitted skirting and radiator on same morning working together
I've since replaced the architrave and now replacing skirting and tidying plumbing up

Searched all of the house, all garments, both cars and a lot of outside.
Still couldn't find the key to the polytunnel.

So had to take the padlock off with bolt cutters.

As everyone knows, we'll find it by buying a new padlock.

Not sure what that valve is there for, temp fitting? while work being done?
Personally I would just take it back to the trunking and go from there neatly with 15mm. but then I have a nice pipe bender that could get from the trunking to the rad with no connections .

You are not the only 1, that cares, but sometimes the OCD (little as it maybe) in all of us takes over.
But I must admit (in your pic) that valve not pointing vertically would get me going.

There's a sqworkin squirrel on me garage going bonkers at worr eye fort was anuvva squirrel who wants to share brekfust nuts. He's bin going fer 5 mins despite me looking out so eye gorrup and went out the front to look down the side ov me castle. Nowt. He stayed ont apex and shuttup. Bit later he's sqworkin again. Eye goes out the back. He's up a tree sqworkin. No cats in me naybers garden. E came down and sat at t'other end ov me garage where he can see me at the kitchen door. Eye goes in so he moves to the eating end. Very nervous about going down ferra nut. Lookering down both sides ov me gate. Still dun't know worrit was. Eye will get me a wifi camera on me garage so eye can see preditors on me drive eye finks.

My 15mm pipe bender doesn't do tight bends, only similar to the one in the picture that's why I thought 10mm pipe would be better,
My brake pipe bender does 10mm so pipe should be hidden under the radiator, I'll paint the exposed pipe to match the wallpaper and tidy the trunking up so it actually fits to the wall.
Radiator is being painted grey so it should all look very nice when visitors call (not very often)

When peeps polish cars they normally does the bonnet first. Often too much. So the lacquer wears finner first. Hence paint blemishes tend to show up on bonnets first. Just a fort.

On my Disco 2, the laquer coat has peeled off massively on the roof.

Where I doubt anyone has put any polish on, far too hard to get to.

Problem (maybe)
Looking to replace these pipes from the pipe cover to the radiator.
15mm to 10mm elbows then 10mm micro pipes along top of skirting boards to rad.
Reason is so I can lift pipes higher and get tighter bends to rad valves, should look neater than what's there now.
Is there going to be a pressure problem reducing the pipe diameters?

W has just spent time polishing up some dirty silver jewellery that she got from an auction.
Just discovered that a kilt pin she bought for £40 is for sale on Etsy for €138.7!

Have to admit she is very good at this!

Might be, I don't know. I may give it a good MER polish on the bonnet.

Just spray it with water, if it looks fine then, it's the lacquer/clear coat.
