Evening all, new to land rovers, bought a fl td4 and just wondering if a L series VCU will fit? It’s from a 1999 going onto a 2006

Yes, sure the V6 is the only different one.

Cheers pal, just wasn’t sure with them being different engines that’s all and my VCU don’t work properly

L series one will be well used. Check it before buying it might be worse than what is on there!

Accordingly its refurbished from bell engineering a year or two ago, getting pics sent tommorow

In fact you can do a quick unscientific test before fitting it. Put a large screwdriver in the knuckles either side and see how hard it is to turn. It should be difficult but possible.
