Yer they are good for 100 years++ someone was trying to get me to use osb roofing board, they said thats what they use
on the east coast ?? Never seen anyone use osb with traditional slate. Told em to bugger off lol

In the good old days of the 1990s it was ply from coast to coast. In recent years I've seen stuff going up that looks suspiciously like OSB. There's a huge OSB factory just outside Inverness, so it must be leaching down from there. I'm geeky like that. I love looking at what people are doing on building sites. It gives me ideas to try at home.

Good question. Personal taste plays a massive part. Dark blue, maybe metallic? ditto Green? or Maroon?
Deffo not white or black.

An a 7 is nootral if my O level science recalls, above that is increasingly alkaline, an vicky verky.
Summink else just occurred, alkalines feel soapy like, errrm. Soap. Strong alkalines feel soapy till yer skin falls oft.

Caustic soda makes my fingers feel less like sandpaper

My mother is a crocheter but I've yet to reap any dedicated PPE from her... some roofing jobs cry out for it.
