Busy day so far
Removed sump guard from defender, extension bar required for these resisting bolts ! plus use of expletives ( and I don't swear, usually) !)and dropped off in Paisley for blasting, as it was a wee bit rusty.
Done an hour in the gym, weight at 63.7 kg, holy crap where's it all going ?
And just back from annual bramble picking, hands covered in scratches with a couple of these wee bramble thorns which are impossible to see but hurt like hell.
Chilling out with a coffee n snickers bar.

And re the 30 times thing, my kall cool eyter started to go skew wiff at about "times 2 on 26 repetitions" it suddenly gave 13421772 when it should have been 1342177.28.
Then it went well wrong giving a figure of 26843544 when it should have been 2684354.56
It was all down hill from thereon.
To think Froggy schoolchilluns is doing their maffs devoir with faulty machines like this!!!

...that today I got the touring trike out of storage in prep for next month's little trip.

Loki (the trike) was resurrected and with a fully charged battery I went for a spin up the road.

It is very low geared (to try and allow ME to ride W/O e-assist).

So even on the max e-assist on the steepest part of the hill and with the N380 in its lowest setting we plodded up the steepest part of the hill at about 6.9mph.

Turned round to come back down (still an appalling turning circle requiring a Flintstone 3-point turn ☹) and of we went down the hill faster and faster no pedalling required.

17MPH…..18MPH….. Wait a minute…… All the cars are parked on my side and so if one comes up the hill towards me I will have to dive in a gap.



Brake-Test……. OH FCUK! Only LH one works. Eek!

Got home again and re-filled/bled the RH brake. All working again.
I will have to get some proving miles in I think.
