Heater a/c help

2.4 tdci with a leak on the air conditioning evaporator
I’ve removed the dashboard and four bolts holding the heater box in place it has a small amount of movement but I’ve pulled,tugged for a hour or so and it won’t come out!
I’m I missing something

Do the alloy a/c pipes go into said box?

Hi yes thanks for your reply the a/c pipe work goes into heater box I was lead to believe that they are push fit sealed with o rings and can be withdrawn by removing heater box
