Love this site but find the constant pop up ads F$%^&g annoying !!

I find it pretty much unusable on my phone without using an ad blocker app.

Discussion and build up of knowledge keeps the site healthy and has a huge value - but doesn't pay the bills.

The Ads mean that the site works when you type in Landyzone.

You can turn them off though...

I only get pop ups on the phone and they're not too bad. I don't get any on the laptop.

add the free extension in Edge and it blocks them all... AdBlocker Ultimate...

I find it pretty much unusable on my phone without using an ad blocker app.

I have 2 add blockers on my phone, and get zero popups. The only add I get is the rolling banner at the top of the page.
I pretty much exclusively use my phone these days, the laptop being confined to video and picture editing, and music copy duties.

I hate the ads but I loves me Landyzone so I'm now a member.

Since the site changed, many years ago now, I've been running my own CSS (userContent.css) on the Landyzone website to make it more usable - but I deliberately didn't try and take out the Google Ads cos it was the way LZ made a bit of cash to finance the site. Now this Full Member facility has completed the usability Its almost as user friendly as me Freelander

On phone tend to get one advert straight away then every 10 or so clicks. just press the little x or close option. Just annoying when they load later and the pages keep moving, not sure if lz does that though.

If you have a powerful modern phone it's not too bad but on my cheapy older phone the ads killed it and made the site unusable. I had no choice but to use Adblock on my phone before I became a paid up member.
