Hoping to get engine out of donor next week, then it needs lined up and engine mounts welded on, then a bit of sorting through wires:eek:
Been looking for engine/gearbox mounts. They appear the same o_O the old style round ones:confused:

got these ready to fit too:)

Is the detailing on the tyres to match the paint colour of the finished vehicel?!;)

Apparently it only needs 4 wires to run the efi from what I’ve read. Will be taking disco mounts off and re-welding them into defender. Going to spoil the galvanising a bit though :(

Thats a shame one of my other defenders also had that done, I painted them with a zinc primer &
cold galvanising paint. Id read in the past there wasnt much wiring to do to get it to run.
Heres hoping. Ref the mounts you could weld a plate on each mount & bolt them on.

Do you mean leave original mounts on and extend them to correct position? I had read that the down pipes are too close to the chassis and would foul them
