Sixpence, last time I bought some
When we young lads we used to go round the doors & ask for old news papers
then take them to the local chippy & get free chips

Still not a very inventive word!
Scraps is what we gives to the doggies normally. Keeping away from that at the mo till we get to the bottom of what is wrong with our youngest.

My Access card was one of the first issue when you didn't apply but were just sent one by your bank - I can't remember if it was still called the District Bank or if it had gone to be called the National Provincial. Earlier this century they stopped sending me an updated card because I never used it although they did contact me to ask if I really wanted one and I declined.Who remembers "Access, your flexible friend"

I can still remember a card you could put in a machine outside your bank and take all of £10 away. But the machine kept your card and it took about a week before you got it back.My Access card was one of the first issue when you didn't apply but were just sent one by your bank - I can't remember if it was still called the District Bank or if it had gone to be called the National Provincial. We watch what ours get plus she is very fussy, what you feeding yours. If ours has the scoots
I only give them dry food until it clears.

Do you remember the time when we were only allowed to take £10 out of the country and that had to be recorded in your passport. That must have been about 1970'ish.

We have been all around all this. Including starving them for 24 hours just to try and sort it. Out of three two are now fine but one is still a problem although, as i said, she is lively as anything and totally normal except for what she puts out.
But she is the worst scavenger of the three. So we worry she has eaten summat she shouldn't. If she did 2 solid poohs in a row we'd stop worrying but she ain't done that yet and she is still spending time straining to no effect. Or not much. If she ain't better tomoz it's off to the vets. We are very fussy what we feed our dogs. It's the least you can do, ain't it?!

I do just about remember it, with my parents, but it was a bit more than £10, I think! £50 maybe? My parents joked that they wished they had enough money to worry about it! iI those days £50 was an average bloke's wages for three weeks or so!I remember before the atm was invented!
