Not an easy task but you're probably right.
I can't track the squeak either! If i rev at idle i don't hear it, only accelerating in gear! Worried something is going to break
Can you get someone in the car and in gear and have them labour the engine at around 1500rpm? With the handbrake on of course. Possibly it may give you an indication o_O

Tried it myself with the hand brake on and the brake pedal wedged.. no squeak.. i wonder if it only happens above 1st gear...i can test that..

Nope, all gears but really have to floor it in 1st to hear it.. definitely engine related then and not a squeaky exhaust leak
Thinking it could be the steering pump  the oil colour is ok but it smells bad.. there's a bit of noise when i turn the pulley.. going to get the oil out of reservoir and put fresh in see if anything changes

Yesterday I was getting out of the VW and see some leaves in/door shut, pulled some out, and there was dirt as well got as much as I could out, but couldn't reach the rest of it, went into the kitchen got the kebab skewer out, and have a poke to get as much as I could out, then the next day, the vacuum cleaner and a jet of water from the hosepipe the photo is about 3/4 of what was in there, the other side was clear, didn't look like a mouse nest, but could have been found some seeds in it, but didn't smell of mice, but why would VW leave a big hole in the back of the wing, I am lucky there's no rust

well today i cleaned the l322 ,
wishing it was an l405
but then i got all patriotic and put up a birthday present from last October,
digging the hole involved the use of the biggest concrete breaker i have,a big n heavy one
it was supposed to be for the new house but that went..all threpenny bits up.
the instructions said..extra materials required 13 cubic feet of concrete (min) and 2 cubic feet of gravel..
i reckon something got lost in translation from mr lee and mr wun hung lo !

Looks more copious, but less impacted than the crap that had accumulated in and seized Otto's lower tailgate locks. Cleared out and copper greased they became a thing of joy and beauty to use, instead of an invisible decoration.

your for £1500
The doors look kinda good without the plastic trim. If you look past the rest of the tat, I could see P38s looking a lot better without the plastic trim on the side. I know my old CL55 did.

No hats on the lions today then ?
i had to take off the hats,
rain, but getting them some dark glasses so the can look like doormen,
ya names not daan' ya not comin in :D
im still lookig for the military gun, bofors should do nicely,,but at £11000 thats gonna have to wait.

Why is it so frigging hard work to take the frigging rocker cover off!? Which baffoon thought it was a good idea to cover the drivers side cover with the upper plenum and a water pipe!? FFS should be a 10 mins job not several hours

I laugh every time I pass a house near me. Typical english who "escaped England" , their words, because they had "holidayed here and loved the people and the place". So much so they have a tiny space, in a tiny front garden, with a massive flagpole, and a massive Union flag, because " well we are english" .
Yeah! Well excuse me whilst I laugh at your upside down flag.
