Tis wiv grate sadness eye has to announce me dash cam has died. It were peaceful so no sufferin. Eye was wivvim at the time int wurks hamster wheel so ma hippo dun't know yet. We have been ter geffer fer many years. Travelling round mainland uk fer wurk un pleasure. He will never be fergetted. We had lots of good times ter geffer. When everer eye fink of him it will be wiv grate fondness for the feind ship we had. His catch phrase was: sd card format please wait. Hippo's posts are quite easy to translate into inglish. Unlike a member from Tynemooth (Oldseadog) who's posts took a minimum of three reads to get the gist. He hasn't posted in a while though, since he took ill .

Yes as with most building materials it is quite a price hike. I think that is why houses that require work are dropping in value whilst those that are in good nick are soaring!

Went into the local timber supplier yesterday to order a couple of 8x4 sheets of 12mm ply, marine grade. £71 + vat each. No thanks, how much is the birch faced? £76 + vat. No thanks again, off home to formulate plan B. Ordered 2 sheets of birch faced from wix, plus a load of other timber. Their ply was half the price of the other place, and free delivery. Still not cheap but acceptable in the circumstances.
