Had a freelander a couple of years ago, lovely car until the local dealer mistook the filling cap for the reverse gear locking pin, end of freelander.
Sod went bust while I was chasing him for damages.

The fruit and nut was. Just eatid all 200gm meself. Bit melted. Yer could bend it wiv oat snapping it. Not stuck to the wrappa anorl.

Had the same problem when looking for me castle. Every one eye drove past, eye checked to see if there wassa garage wide nuff to hide ma hippo. Did it for many years wiv oat looking propper. Needed a drive to wash and fix him ont. Had to be int price range and have 3 bedrooms and be int area eye knows. When eye spotted one wiv a garage and drive parking fer 4 Freelander's eye bort it.One of the difficult things about looking for a place to settle is it has to tick boxes for all concerned.
I found a place with some land and two workshops plus parking for a fleet of Land Rovers
Sadly, it is in the middle of nowhere and one of the Mrs's 'ticks' is it has to be near civilisation

The fruit un nut incident wassa co*k up. Ah fergettid it was there. None went to waste. Eye was already filled wiv stake un chips. Was gonna eatid me narnar's as they is well ripe after being inna hot car. Seen the fruit un nut and felt sorry ferrit. Eye will av me narna's morra.

Eye have driven past it but never had the bottle to go there. Tis said the locals only baff once a month.I will also admit that I thought Carlise was in Scotland.....

@kevstar my first serious drunk was a bottle of Gordons, neat, split with a mate while I was still at boarding school. Drank in 1/4 of an hour, drunk straight after. We were seriously ill and our mates had to hide us from prefects and staff!
Put me off gin for quite a while!
