Dear All,

New user so hello to all................

Help, I have an 03 Range Rover 30TD6 Vogue fitted with standard radio / sat nav /TV etc. Problem I have is the unit keeps loosing the volume...........it will just go quiet and eventually after turning off and on a few times it will come back on again??? Even the sat nav will stop talking to you........Doe sanyone have any clues to this annoying problem i have???

Thanks in advance

Darren

Thanks for your responce, i am trying to avoid the taking it in sindrome and LR charging for checking and the day it checks the flipping thing works..........

what i have also noticed is when the unit looses the volume if you go into the Menu bar DSP goes missing???????

Coming back from a long journey at the weekend the radio worked for some time then kept going silent then the sound coming back on again. I was hoping for a loose wire an amplifier sounds expensive.

If anyone else has had similar problems I would love to hear from you.

Regards

Darren

hi. if you look in the left hand rear boot compartment where your audio modules are fitted. remove and check the connectors to all the modules, you will find you have possible corrosion in the connectors. the radio module is the hardest to get at due to it half way under a boot trim.

Great thanks a lot, just had a look and did what you say........fingers crossed it was just a dry connection or corrosion as you say.

Thanks again
