Just seen a squiggel crossing me garding. Never seen one here before, must be expanding their local range. Think he was heading in the wrong direction, away from the trees . Not unusual to see hares and roe deer in the fields within view, also seen a hare and a badger in me garding before today, and bats in the evening. But squiggles are rare visitors here. Also seeing more meeces than usual this spring, thriving on the windfall under the bird feeders.

Shopping is all done.
The sunshade under the sunroof was soaking wet from the leaking sunroof.

This took me a while to comprehend, then I realised what you meant.
Oh dear, what a pain.
Best of luck fixing it.
Headling in mine needs fixing, tempted to do the sunroof seals and the lining at the same time.
But ours hardly ever leak so I am living with stapling the headlining up when necessary, temporary bodge that works surprisingly well and is invisible as it is only over the front left windscreen.

Cheers for those the main places are Norfolk/Suffolk area. Then, occasionally, Staffordshire & Shropshire. Very few and far between in the south

Just too ruddy expensive in the sarf, too many peeps retiring to the seaside, or near it. We have both agreed that if neither of us can manage stairs we will get a Stannah. Far cheaper than moving to a bungy. They are sooooo expensive.

I would need to get a pneumatic lift installed as the stairs are not conducive to a stair lift. Also, we don't like it here anymore so moving is the only option!

I think i already knew that you were moving away from the area, as you had talked about a house you had your eye on.
Maybe just a tiny bit of an idea to look at two storeyed houses that could take a Stannah and price that into the equation.
You may even be lucky and buy one with one already in, ex-colleague did just that.
Also I have heard you can buy them second-hand and fit them or get them fitted. Might even have a decent garage! Builders seem to think that retired folk aren't interested in tinkering! Mate of mine bough a posh bungalow in Sandbanks then spent a while building a lovely 3 car garage. Poor sod died a few months later, brain tumour at 62. whata bitch.

Eureka!!!! The telephone number to the Mover's real maker has produced action!!

At the request of their technical dept. I have sent the two original videos of the way the motors seem to be working ( or not working), together with general photos of what the wheels are looking like now - including showing the drag on the gravel of the rear off-side one and the caravan in situ at the top of the gentle slope and two photos showing the dated receipt and the completed (by the dealer) details in the warranty booklet.
I was phoned back almost instantly with the fault diagnosis and told how to get it solved. I am going to ask my gardener man who is a qualified mech. eng. to remove two 'boxes' from inside the van and return them to them. They will then test them to check what they think is the problem (something to do with the communication between the boxes and the remote control) and then replace them and send the new ones out for my man to put them back in. They do not believe the wheel lock-on is connected to this at all so cannot sort that out but they agree that there is no ground evidence to show that the wheel was locked as it tried to travel up the slope - the only evidence is from when the visiting dealer man reversed it for just a couple of feet.
At least there seems to be some hope. He did say that if he had to get someone to come to me there would be a long wait as he would have to find a dealer who would be prepared to come out when everyone is busy.

...Just finished the 4th coat of paint on that ceiling (a Sealing coat (on a ceiling, no less), a covering coat in matt white, and now 2 coats of the final colour (an off-white).
I'm sure it is still "patchy" But I am a tad "fed-up" with recoating it. I am sure the room is getting progressively smaller with each coat of paint.
Sick to death of it. I am taking a day off, so there!

Yes, I remember it when it came out. I really wish I had that capability on this stuff, but it is a trade paint from Johnstone.

We try to use it in France but it is so hot over there it turns white as soon as you put it on.
Don't think the shape of your place makes it easy. But TBH as soon as you've put enough on it'll even itself out I fink!.
