The misses asked me earlier if I didnt like spending time at the house:eek:
as im always working or busy doing man stuff o_O
She is just fed up being stuck in doors & I seam to be all over the place havin a ball.
Oh eye I live to work not work to live or is it the other way round :confused:o_O

She doesnt know but im busting my ass to pay off the mortgage this year, been stashing
all my pocket money away for a surprize for her birthday. I'll just wrap up a suitcase wiv
cash & let her open it haha I hope she doesnt do a runner wiv it. lol

You could have steamed them Stanley haha :D:D
TBH did think about that but the time it would have taken me to make a steamer etc it was easier to make my tool and just crack on. They do look extremely like the ones you have been using. I thought about replacing the worst ones but the only ones I could fin with exactly the same pattern but more importantly of the same thickness, were in Toulouse, 1 1/2 hours away. In the end I had absolutely no spares at all.
So to do the trim I went to a local DIY place where their's were as p!ssed as mine! I went through their entire stock to find the 5 boards I needed and only just made it!:):):)

1/ It would have to be a feck off wide bore bit of pipe seeing how bent they were!
2/ once steamed, I'd have to not only straighten them but also unwind them, lots of pegs on boards etc
3/ it'd have taken ages, and can you imagine being near all that steam and hot wood working in a French summer temp of 35 degs plus? I'd have died!
But yes, if you need to, you do it. Prolly more important on a boat where they need to keep the watter out!:):):):):)

Reminds me of the time I met a lady in a club and took her back to her place.
She stripped off and stood naked in front of me, except for a wedding ring........which I hadn't noticed before.:eek:;)
I asked her where her husband was.
"Doing the night shift at Stothert and Pitt" quoth she.
For some stupid reason I left after an hour or so.
I could have stayed a lot longer!!!!!!;););););)

Yep, bit dodgy doing night shifts!
Had a mate/neighbour whose wife used to have a bloke round every so often during the day. He drove a lovely Capri Mk1, kept in spanking good nick, except it was in a very bright green metallic.
Parked it outside the house bold as brass.
Never noticed this until the school holidays started. Then I was at home during the day.
The whole close knew but no one ever let on. dunno why, What do you do? guess we all thought it was their business and not ours. But she was an ugly spiteful cow. How she pulled another bloke was a mystery to us all.
They moved not long after and then divorced.
He was one of the best commercial photographers for miles around. Taught me a lot.
He once entered a professional photographers competition and came first, second and third!
After that he could walk from his rather cr@p job working for someone else and opened his own studio. Did well there. Ain't seen him for decades!:rolleyes::rolleyes:
