Next question getting close to the end, I think! of my 2A/RR hybrid and I'm at the headlight stage, mine is a '68 one of the last with the headlights in the radiator panel and the back ring in which the light unit sits is rotten, apparently these are made of unobtainium.
I was assured by the man at Paddocks that the Lucas Bowl kit they supply would rectify this situation, however, when I unpacked them I fail to see how they can be mounted in my radiator panel, they are clearly intended for the earlier type where they mount from the front with a big chrome ring over the adjusters.
The adjusters on the new parts are on a different PCD so don't line up with the three holes in my panel so I can't even use a combination of old and new parts to make them fit.
Is there a workaround for this or am I going to have to return these and try to repair my original rings which are quite well gone?

Return them I'm afraid

Pangolin 4x4 sell them NOS. Of course you will have to pay handsomely for import tax and vat plus postage but if you need them...
Checked them out, 28 dollars each plus shipping and vat so probably well over 100 quid by the time they get to me so I'll have a go at fixing mine first unless you know anyone heading over to the states in the near future?

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think they'll work, can't believe the Chinese haven't started knocking out the LR ones as they make copies of just about anything these days, how come the Lucas sets are only for the earlier 2A's were there not many later 2A's made I suppose not as the headlights migrated into the wings shortly after, a pity as I think this mounting is a much neater arrangement.
