Today I drove it, and the SRS light stayed on. Tommorrow I'll be checking the wiring, particularly on the drivers airbag that I recently removed and refitted when sorting the wheel leather.

Anyone know if my cheapy bluetooth odb will clear the fault? It does ECU codes.

No, unfortunately an OBD2 dongle won't clear the SRS light. My Icarsoft I930 will identify and clear the code. ;)

Hi, does anyone know what this wire is for, someone cut it:confused:

On Friday made an appointment at the garage to change the coolant pump at Whednsday so I had plenty of time yesterday to take off the headliner of the roof and strip the dropped fabric to replace it. I asked for a price at some shops around for the replacement and the best was about 170 euros ( the top was 220 euros ) so I ordered the fabric and the glue at a store for 39 euros total. I brushed the headliner to clean the orange layer of the old fabric and put it aside to my storage waiting for the new one. Taking off the headliner revealed an other issue, rust on the sunroof, it is just a small part on the frame at the right corner above the passenger seat so now I have to take the sunroof off to sand it and paint it. I had never opened the sunroof because the seller told me that it was damaged so now with the mechanism and the motor over my head I'll try to figure out where the damage is.

I believe replacement parts for sunroofs are still available. They often suffer badly from rust.

Yes there are mostly from stores in UK and e-bay in fair prices like this but I'm afraid of the customs costs which now is the biggest problem here in Greece. The customs at the ATH airport asking whatever their head flashes . So I have to pay for the parts, the shipping, the greek vat, the customs broker, maybe additional fee (10 euros per day) if the package stays in the airport storage due to the HUGE amount of packages and I really don't know if there is anything else.

Well I bit the bullet and did my first piece of work on mine having owned it all of three weeks now, changing the 7pin towing electrics to a 13pin ready for when we can change from glamping to caravanning. Sadly, a trip to the recycling centre pulling a trailer before I changed the cable showed that what was installed was not aware of having a trailer plugged in, didn't get the light on the dash and the sensors had conniptions when I selected reverse but the new cable came with fuses and a relay which were all missing from the original setup so hopefully things will be sorted now. Have to go past a LR dealer on the way to look over our probable 'van so may book it in for a once-over and just swallow the cost

:(
So replacing the cable was a breeze but as expected it didn't magically fix the reversing sensor issue so had to find someone to flash the ECU. Good news is that there is someone only 10 minutes away and it was longer getting there than the guy took to sort it.

Now to start writing the wishlist of toys and tweaks to give my mind a treat

Good work. I'm contemplating this at the moment. Let's have some pics
Thank you mate. Here are the pics

It certainly has flaws, but it's something I tried for the first time since I saw it on YouTube and I did it with a lot of pleasure. I also saved a lot of money, it cost me 40 euros (9 euros per meter and 12 for the glue) and they asked me for 170 or 200.
The link of the video I got help is here. If you need more info PM me, I'll be glad to help.
Cheers
