WOW!
Just looked in my "junk" folder and found a reply from the French town hall re my request for paperwork to do with my "mariage" in 1981. (For my visa application).
Amazingly it arrived two days ago, they will send me a copy of my "acte de mariage" if I scan my passport in and email it to them and apparently all the paperwork I sent in in order to get married, all 26 bits of paper, got sent off to a central bureau in Paris at the end of the year and she gave me the address and phone number to contact them on.
I am totally amazed!!!!
So I have a better and faster result from them than from any of the English peeps i have contacted!

But then there ARE a lot of "fonctionnaires" in France, so maybe they actually do something for their money.

Only 16 degrees in the Dining Room so I think it must be very cold out there.
I am all warm in here though.
I have an MOT @ 10:20 today (confirmed yesterday) for them to scan "Thumper" to see if he has grown any larger.
So I think I shall skip breakfast and have a brunch instead.
