She's a fkn coward  poor family lost a wee lad & they dont get any closure, makes me sick. :(
Here's a new take on the whole thing.
Imagine, just for a nanosecond, if CD plates didn't only mean the driver could break the law with impunity, but also the driver could have lawbreakers doing stuff to him or her, with impunity! After all, why shouldn't it work both ways?!
"Your wife just killed my son, well guess what fu cker, I've got my 12 bore here and there is one barrel for each of you!"
" I can kill you and get away with it cos I have got immunity cos you is a diplomat!"

Eye did look at them before as i wud like a generic one anorl to cover code reading on any odbii compliant car. But there wassa yeerly subscription ter buy ter keep it gowing. :(
They did avva Freelander specific option but eye cuddn't see anyfink online ter proove it wurked ok.
This is new then cos my Pro 520 was a one off buy and i got a whole pile of LR models on it as well as both Jag and Obd2, which I used this summer to diagnose a fubar lambda sensorm on wifey's Pluriel..
Sounds like this paying for constant updates thing is a new wrinkle. Once you have got it for a vehicle that is a few years old, I fail to see what updates it would need. After all the vehicle is no longer being made.
"Foxwell NT520 Pro update online:
With Internet access, you will always have the latest bug fixes, new vehicles, newly added parameters and functionality at your fingertips. And they are free for life long time after your registration."

so don't understand why you thought you had to pay for this.
Too late for you now, unless you bought it online in which case you could return it within the 14 days, but I could get mine out tomoz and check to see if it covers Freelander, if you like. But pretty sure it does as it even covers Discos back as far as they went with electronic stuff. It covers my TD5 and my D1 V8.
Hawkeye and Nanocom are much more expensive and as far as I know only cover one model. But I do know they do more stuff.
Anyway, best of luck with it!:):):)
