Was researching it up and the bmw is 5x120 And ment to fit with rings on the p38 I have 19s and looking to go down to 16 see does it improve the drive

Why not just fit land rover wheels? I've got 16" wheels on mine, didn't like the 19" ones that were on

The only way to tell is to try it, different people appreciate different drive feel.

just an FYI, I needed new wheel nuts, the L322 wheel nuts were smaller than those required for p38 wheels

You could flog the p38 and buy a L322 that would save the cost of new nuts.

Not a lot for sale over in Northern Ireland

Some D2 ones bolt straight on.

I have 16s but flotation tyres.
19s are bit much for me, just dropping to 18s will make difference. With respectable tyre sizes to match ofcourse.

I was amazed at the difference between 16 and 18 inch wheels on the P38.

The comfort is vastly improved with the 16s.

There are plenty of P38 wheels available!
